So I submitted some Prose poetry for SOAR, which is forHarriet’s literature submission section for short stories and poems.

This piece is called “Michael: Might Be, My Cool”  an excerpt from  a short fictional novel called “Blacks, Browns, Coloureds & Crayolas.”
I’m touching on topics like intersectionality, race, class and gender and this particular piece is about a tiring cat & mouse relationship between two young adults who struggle to communicate their true feelings to each other.
