Today marks the 15th annual World Autism Awareness Day , an internationally recognized day on April 2 every year. It was proposed by Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, the United Nations Representative from Qatar and consort to EmirHamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and supported by all member states.
The theme this year is “Inclusion in the Workplace”
Aiming to “foster inclusive and quality education for people on the autism spectrum so that they can fulfill their potential and achieve sustainable success in the labour market.”
